Two-time Grammy Nominee, best known for his Electronic / World Music production has also appeared on various album credits which include Seal, Coldplay, Michael Jackson,  Alan’s Morissette,  Paul Oakenfold, AR Rahman, U Srinivas, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Pete Townshend, Huun Huur Tu,  and Dhani Harrison  Carmen as an artist puts out music under his own name and side projects Niyaz which he co-founded,  Didon & Libella. As a composer, he scored music for Oscar-winning directors Michael Apted and Stanley Brooks and wrote the end title for Sony Play Station’s Uncharted 2. As a long-time Recording Academy voting member, he has served as a Trustee & Governor and wrote the category "Best Electronic Album" and "Technical Grammys" for Apple and Roger Linn, inventor of the drum machine. He has also hosted and lectured Master Classes all over the world, including his own TED X Talk in the US. He runs his own music label, Electrofone Music, and previously served as the Senior Artist Relations Manager at Native Instruments running A&R in North America for 7 years.
